The India International Exchange (IFSC) Ltd. (INDIA INX) on December 19, 2025, notified regarding the Trading Holidays for the Calendar Year 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Exchange has notified four trading holidays for the calendar year 2026—Republic Day (January 26), Good Friday (April 3), Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti (October 2), and Christmas (December 25). Independence Day (August 15) falls on a weekend and hence will not be an additional trading holiday.
• Muhurat Trading will be conducted on Sunday, November 8, 2026, on account of Diwali (Laxmi Pujan), with trading timings to be announced later.
• The Exchange may revise the holiday list through a separate circular, if required.
