The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC), on December 17, 2025, issued the Draft Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Group Net Metering and Virtual Net Metering for Renewable Energy) (Seventh Amendment) Guidelines, 2025.
The following amendments have been stated namely: -
• Sub-clause (d) of Clause (2) of Guideline 9 of the Principal Guidelines shall be substituted as under: - In Guideline 9 of the Principal Guidelines, in Sub-clause (d) of Clause (2), words ‘occurred during the off-peak time block ' shall be substituted by the words ‘“occurred during the normal time block.”
• The Draft Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Group Net Metering and Virtual Net Metering for Renewable Energy) (Seventh Amendment) Guidelines, 2025, is available on the website of the Commission, i.e. www.derc.gov.in. The last date for submitting comments/suggestions on the above-mentioned draft Guideline is December 24, 2025.
