Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on December 22, 2025, notified regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM), till January 13, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Based on the High–Low price variation formula, E-ASM of 2.5% has been re-triggered for Guar Seed and Guar Gum and will apply to all existing and yet-to-be-launched contracts up to January 13, 2026. 

• Guar Gum triggered E-ASM on both 5-day and 10-day movements on December 22, 2025, while Guar Seed triggered it on the 10-day movement on the same date. 

• Other commodities remain unaffected. All other applicable margins will continue unchanged.
