The National Medical Commission (NMC), on December 22, 2025, notified regarding the Online applications for the establishment of New Medical Colleges intending to start undergraduate (UG) courses and for an increase in the intake of UG seats in the established Medical Colleges w.r.t. AY 2026-27.
The following has been stated namely:-
• Kind reference is invited to the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of National Medical Commission (NMC)’s Public Notice of even number dated 21-12-2025 (copy enclosed) w.r.t. Online applications for Establishment of New Medical Colleges intending to start Under Graduate (UG) course and for increase in the intake of UG seats in the established Medical Colleges for AY 2026-27. All the concerned Institutions are requested to take necessary action and adhere to the same.
• Medical Assessment and Rating Board of National Medical Commission, New Delhi, hereby invites online applications for the establishment of New Medical Colleges intending to start Under Graduate (UG) course and for an increase in the intake of UG seats in the established Medical Colleges through the web portal for the Academic year 2026-27, subject to the following conditions:-
• Only online applications submitted on the web portal of the official NMC website shall be considered.
• The online application portal shall be active from 29.12.2025 to 28.01.2026. Accordingly, the last date to submit the completed application shall be 28.01.2026 before 6 PM.
