The Government of Punjab on November 26, 2025, issued the list of public holidays for 2026.
The following has been stated namely:-
• It has issued the list of public holidays to be observed during the calendar year 2026 for government offices and institutions across the State.
• The notification specifies holidays on account of national events, religious festivals, and regional observances. These declared holidays will apply to State Government offices, boards, corporations, and other notified establishments.
• Employees and departments are advised to plan official work and administrative activities in accordance with the prescribed holiday schedule.
