Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPS&W) on December 23, 2025, notified the Recycling of Ships (Amendment) Rules, 2025, to amend the Recycling of Ships Rules, 2021.

The following has been stated: -

•In rule 1, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) They shall come into force on the 24th day of December, 2025.”
