The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on December 24, 2025, issued a notification regarding continuous Clearing and Settlement on Realisation in Cheque Truncation System: Phase 2.
The following has been stated: -
•Phase 2 of Continuous Clearing and Settlement on Realisation in the Cheque Truncation System has been postponed until further notice.
•The presentation session timing has been revised to 09:00 AM–03:00 PM, and the confirmation session to 09:00 AM–07:00 PM.
•The directive is issued under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
