The Forest and Wildlife (D) Department, Kerala, on December 18, 2025, notified Kerala Wildlife (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2025, further to amend the Kerala Wildlife (Protection) Rules, 1978.
The following has been stated: -
•For rule 3, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
3 .Term of office-The term of office of a member of the Board, other than those who are member’s ex-officio, shall be for a period of three years from the date of his nomination or till such period his successor is nominated, as may be approved by the Chairperson.
•They shall come into force at once.
