Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on December 25, 2025, notified regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM), till January 15, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that based on the High–Low price variation formula [(High–Low)/Low × 100], the Enhanced Additional Surveillance Measure (E-ASM) at 2.5% has been re-triggered for Guar Seed and Guar Gum contracts.

• The measure will be applicable to all existing and yet-to-be-launched contracts in these commodities up to January 15, 2026.

• As per the trigger assessment, Guar Gum met both the 5-day (10%) and 10-day (15%) movement criteria on December 24, 2025, while Guar Seed met the 10-day movement trigger on December 24, 2025.

• Other commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Jeera, and Turmeric are either not triggered or have different applicability periods as indicated in the table.
