The Finance Department, Govt. of Kerala on December 17, 2025, notified regarding the voluntary Aadhaar Authentication in Vocal Form for Employees under SPARK Systems.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Government has issued a notification enabling voluntary Aadhaar authentication in vocal form for employees who are blind, illiterate, or facing extraordinary circumstances while using the SPARK, G-SPARK, and UNISPARK systems.
• This notification supplements the earlier order that permitted Aadhaar authentication on a voluntary basis but lacked provisions for employees unable to authenticate through standard methods.
• The Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) is required to read out the consent form to the employee in the presence of another office staff member, and such vocal consent shall be properly recorded.
• The consent shall strictly follow the format prescribed in Schedule B, ensuring transparency, accessibility, and protection of employee rights.
