The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on December 23, 2025, issued a circular regarding the Downward Rate Revision of Items under DGESIC RC-161.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Amendments have been made Item no. 600 in RC 161 of M/s Johnson & Johnson Private Ltd namely: -
• 161 600 - Infliximab Inj. Each Vial to contain: Infliximab 100mg (REMICADE) Packing:1 Vial - Initial Rate= Rs.14,158.11 per Vial - After revision, Existing Rate Rs.13,500.00 per Vial - Rs.11,982.00 per Vial – October 15, 2025.
• GST @5% Extra
• The said amendment has been issued on the request of the firms-M/s Johnson & Johnson Private Ltd.
• The drug shall adhere to composition, strength, standards and packing as approved under the Rate Contract & conform to the standards and specifications as per Drug & Cosmetic Act.
• All DDOs are advised to recover the excess amount paid to the firm from subsequent bills submitted by the firm and maintain records of the same.
