Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 22, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Change in the Expiry date and Maturity date of Contracts.

The following has been stated namely: -

• NSE has revised the expiry and maturity dates for multiple commodity futures and options contracts, with most contracts expiring one day earlier than the originally scheduled dates.

• The changes apply to contracts in base metals (aluminium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel) and bullion (gold and silver) segments.

• The circular is effective from December 29, 2025; trading members must upload the updated co_contract.gz file from the NSE Extranet before trading on that date, while settlement details will be communicated separately.
