NSE notified regarding the Trading holidays for calendar year 2026 for Debt Segments

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 23, 2025, issued the Trading holidays for calendar year 2026 for Debt Segments.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Exchange will observe 19 trading holidays during 2026 for the Debt Segment on account of national festivals, religious observances, and bank closing days.

• 4 holidays fall on Saturdays/Sundays, including Mahashivratri, Id-Ul-Fitr, Independence Day/Parsi New Year, and Diwali Laxmi Pujan.

• Although Diwali Laxmi Pujan (November 08, 2026) falls on a Sunday, Muhurat Trading will be conducted, with timings to be announced separately.
