The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on December 26, 2025, issued a notification regarding the procedure for the Empanelment of Vendors for Surveillance Software.
The following has been stated: -
•The Exchange notice (No. 20241231-66 dated December 31, 2024) updates measures to strengthen market integrity through brokers’ institutional mechanisms for fraud and market abuse prevention.
•Paragraph 5.3.3 of Annexure A details the empanelment of Exchange-approved vendors providing automated surveillance software.
•The prescribed procedure for empanelment is provided in Annexure 1.
•Trading members must inform surveillance software vendors of these requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
