The Government of Manipur on December 24, 2025, issued the Kwakta Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025.
The Kwakta Municipal Council notified the draft Kwakta Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025 on December 05, 2025, proposing adoption of the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024. The notice was published in the Sanaleibak daily on December 07, 2025, inviting public objections or suggestions within seven days. As no objections or suggestions were received within the stipulated period, the Bye-Laws have been finalized and published in the Manipur Gazette Extra-Ordinary under Section 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994. The finalized Bye-Laws are published as an Annexure for public information and are available on the Town Planning Department, Manipur website.
