Finance & Taxation Compliance The Government of Chhattisgarh, on December 22, 2025, issued amendments to the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005.

The following has been stated: -

•In the Schedule to the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005

(a)In column (3) of serial number 6, for the words and figures “8.5 percent”, the words “Nil” shall be substituted.

The amendment shall come into force with effect from April 01, 2026.
