The Oinam Municipal Council (OMC), in exercise of powers under section 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994, on December 22, 2025, notified the final adoption of the Oinam Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025, based on the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024.
The draft Building Bye-Laws were earlier published on December 5, 2025, and subsequently advertised in the Sanaleibak local daily on December 7, 2025, inviting objections or suggestions from the general public within a period of seven days. As no objections or suggestions were received within the stipulated time, the Council proceeded with formal adoption.
Accordingly, the Oinam Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025 have now been published in the Manipur Gazette (Extraordinary) for official effect and public information. The annexed Bye-Laws are also made available on the official website of the Town Planning Department, Manipur.
