Secretarial ComplianceThe National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) on December 23, 2025, notified regarding the uploading of scanned Delivery Instruction Slip(s) (DIS) image(s) in the DMS module of the NSDL e-PASS system.

The following has been stated namely: -

• NSDL has informed Participants about the migration of the DIS Management System (DMS) to the e-PASS portal, which will go live from January 01, 2026, in continuation of its 2014 circulars on DIS image validation and tamper-proof storage.

• Scanned images of Delivery Instruction Slips (DIS) and annexures for the last 8 years (1 January 2018 to 31 December 2025) shall be migrated to the DMS module of the e-PASS system, either by NSDL (for cloud users) or by Participants with NSDL’s assistance (for on-premises users). 

• Participants not using DMS are required to upload e-signed scanned DIS images from their own tamper-proof storage to the e-PASS portal. 

• From January 01, 2026, onwards, all DIS shall be scanned and uploaded on the e-PASS DMS module on a T+1 basis, with daily data provided to track pending uploads and ensure regulatory compliance.
