EHS ComplianceThe Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on December 24, 2025, notified regarding the revocation of GRAP IV as AQI improves to 271.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Sub-Committee on the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has revoked Stage-IV restrictions across the entire NCR with immediate effect following a significant improvement in air quality.

• The decision was taken after reviewing current AQI levels and IMD/IITM forecasts, which showed Delhi’s AQI improving to 271 (Poor category) on 24 December 2025 due to favourable meteorological conditions such as high wind speed.

• However, GRAP Stages I, II, and III will continue to remain in force, and all concerned agencies have been directed to strictly implement and monitor these measures to prevent further deterioration in air quality.

• Construction and demolition sites closed due to specific violations will not be allowed to resume operations without explicit approval from CAQM.

• The Commission will continue to closely monitor air quality and urges citizens to comply with the prescribed citizen charter during the winter season.
