The Government of Manipur on December 24, 2025, issued the Final Notification of Shikhong Sekmai Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025
The following has been stated namely: -
• The draft “Shikhong Sekmai Municipal Council Building Bye-Laws, 2025”, adopting the Model Manipur Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2024, was notified on December 04, 2025 inviting public objections/suggestions within seven days.
• No objections or suggestions were received by the Shikhong Sekmai Municipal Council within the stipulated period.
• Accordingly, under Section 212 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994, the Bye-Laws have been finalized and published in the Manipur Gazette for general information.
