The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), on December 18, 2025, issued the Draft Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Renewable Energy Certificates for Renewable Energy Generation) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is to inform that the public hearing scheduled on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 Hrs (online), vide Public Notice dated December 05, 2025, on the above subject matter is being postponed.
• It has been decided to hold a public hearing on the above subject on 29.12.2025 (Monday) at 11:00 Hrs as per the details given below: -
• Invitee : Representatives of Central / State Governments / Load Despatch Centers / State Utilities/ CPSUs / Generation Companies / Transmission Licensees / Distribution Licensees / Power Exchanges / Individual Experts / RE Developers/ RE Associations/ NGOs / IPPs / Financial Institutions /Consultancy Firms/ Developers /any other organizations.
• To enable proper arrangements for the hearing, it is requested that the name of the proposed participant(s) from your organization may please be registered on the SAUDAMINI Portal after clicking Public Hearing Registration Hyperlink on its Homepage and be communicated to undersigned by dt. 26.12.2025(Friday). Microsoft teams link of the Public Hearing will be communicated to registered participants subsequently. Please also let us know if you/your organization proposes to make a presentation during the hearing. The presentation may be planned to be limited to duration of 5-10 minutes and be covered in not more than 8 to 10 slides. The advance copy of presentation may be emailed to [email protected] and [email protected] by dt 26.12.2025 (Friday). A line in confirmation about the participation in the hearing would be highly appreciated.
