The Andaman and Nicobar Administration on December 19, 2025, notified regarding the revision of minimum wages in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, effective from January 01, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has revised the minimum wages on a six-month basis. The revision follows the earlier Notification No. 133/2023/F dated December 27, 2023, and is based on the Average All India Consumer Price Index for April–September 2025.
• With effect from January 01, 2026, the minimum daily wages are fixed at ₹652 (Unskilled), ₹733 (Semi-Skilled/Unskilled Supervisory), ₹856 (Skilled/Clerical), and ₹939 (Highly Skilled) across the six scheduled employments, including Government departments and industrial establishments.
• All other terms and conditions of the earlier notification shall remain unchanged.
