NSE notified regarding the Revision of Expiry and Maturity Dates for Currency and Interest Rate Derivative Contracts

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 29, 2025, issued the notification regarding the Change in the Expiry date and Maturity date of Contracts.

The following has been stated namely: -

• NSE has announced changes in expiry and maturity dates for certain currency and interest rate derivative contracts, as per circular dated December 23, 2025.

• For FUTCUR and OPTCUR, expiry dates are revised from March 27, 2026 to March 25, 2026 and from June 26, 2026 to June 25, 2026.

• For FUTCUR (all symbols), the May 2026 contract expiry is revised from May 27, 2026 to May 26, 2026.

• For FUTIRC and OPTIRC, expiry dates are revised from March 26, 2026 to March 25, 2026, and for FUTIRC ONMIBOR, from March 31, 2026 to March 30, 2026.

• The circular is effective from December 31, 2025; members must use the latest contract files from the NSE Extranet, while settlement schedules will be issued separately by clearing corporations.
