The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on December 31, 2025, issued a circular informing members about the Due Date Rates (DDR) applicable to Monthly Electricity Futures traded in the Commodity Derivatives Segment, in continuation of earlier circulars governing the final settlement (DDR) procedure.
As per the circular, the DDR for the electricity futures contract that expired on December 30, 2025, has been finalized. The DDR for the commodity ELECMBL has been fixed at ₹3,859.00 per MWh, with a base quantity of 1 MWh. This rate shall be used for the purpose of final settlement of the concerned futures contract in accordance with the applicable settlement framework.
Members are advised to take note of the above DDR and ensure compliance with settlement obligations under the Commodity Derivatives Segment of NSE.
