The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), on December 31, 2025, launched the Market Access Support (MAS) Intervention under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – NIRYAT DISHA, with immediate effect. The initiative is aimed at strengthening India’s export market access by providing structured financial and institutional support for market access activities.
Under the MAS intervention, support will be extended for activities such as Buyer-Seller Meets (BSMs), Reverse Buyer-Seller Meets (RBSMs), trade fairs, exhibitions, and other related export promotion and market access initiatives. The scheme is being operationalised on a pilot basis to enable early implementation and active participation of stakeholders. Detailed guidelines for implementation of MAS have been issued as an annexure to the notice.
The implementation of MAS will be carried out through the Trade Connect ePlatform, ensuring transparency, digital processing, and an audit trail. Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) and other eligible organising agencies are required to submit proposals and applications for approved activities in the prescribed format and timelines. Organising agencies must designate and register an EPM Administrator on the Trade Connect portal to manage all EPM-related activities.
