The Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) on December 31, 2025, issued a notification regarding the extension of SPREE 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•ESIC has extended SPREE 2025 by one month, allowing unregistered employers to enroll under the ESI Act till January 31, 2026.
•The scheme enables registration without inspections, past contribution demands, or submission of previous records.
•Employers can register digitally via ESIC, Shram Suvidha, or MCA portals, with coverage effective from the chosen date.
•Failure to register by January 31, 2026, will attract past dues, interest, damages, and legal action.
