The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on December 30, 2025, issued the Draft Code on Social Security (Central) Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Agency and Appeal.
•Rule 3 specifies the Manner and conditions of making the provisions of Chapter III or Chapter IV inapplicable to an establishment.
•Rule 4 specifies the Income of dependent parents of an employee.
Objections and suggestions may be submitted within 45 days from December 30, 2025.
