The Government of Maharashtra, on December 31, 2025, notified the Maharashtra Industry, Investment, and Services Policy-2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The policy aims to position Maharashtra as a global business destination, supporting its vision of a trillion-dollar economy by 2030 and “Developed Maharashtra 2047.”
•It targets ₹70.5 lakh crore in investments, expansion of industry’s GSVA share to 30%, and creation of 50 lakh jobs across manufacturing and services.
•Key reforms include setting up the unified “Invest Maharashtra” platform, new commissionerates, strong MSME support, and a focus on smart, green manufacturing and balanced regional growth.
•The policy is valid for five years from notification, with the English version prevailing for legal interpretation.
