The Tea Board lndia on December 31, 2025, issued a circular regarding the revision of the Application Fee w.r.t. issuance of Non- preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO) for Darjeeling Tea through online portal of Tea Board.
Tea Board India has announced a revision in the application fee for issuing the Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO) for Darjeeling Tea. With effect from January 01, 2026, the application fee for each CoO for consignments above two kilograms of Darjeeling tea has been fixed at ₹2,000 plus applicable GST. The CoO will continue to be issued online through the existing portal (darjeelingtea.teaboard.gov.in) in accordance with the revised fee structure.
