Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on January 20, 2026, issued the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Twelfth Amendment) Order, 2025, to further amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In Schedule I after serial number 27, the following serial number and entries shall be added namely: - 

o Airports 

28. Pune (Maharashtra) 

29. Noida (Uttar Pradesh) 

30. Bhogapuram (Andhra Pradesh)

This shall come into force on January 20, 2026
