The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 20, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on January 12, 2026, namely: -
• IS 8183 : 2024 Bonded Mineral Wool — Specification (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 January 2026
• IS 17753 : 2021 Paperbased Multilayer Laminated/Extruded Composite Cartons (Aseptic and Non-Aseptic) for Processed Liquid Food Products and Beverages — Specification - Amendment No. 3 January 2026
The aforesaid IS shall be in force without the amendment till July 11, 2026
