The Paradip Port Authority (PPA), on January 22, 2026, issued an Office Order pursuant to a decision taken by its Board in Resolution No. 204/2025-26 during Meeting No. 05/2025-26 held on January 20, 2026, concerning container-related charges at the port.
Through this decision, the Board has approved the grant of exemption from container scanning charges for all loaded Coastal and EXIM containers handled at Paradip Port. This measure is aimed at easing operational costs and facilitating smoother cargo movement through the port.
The exemption shall remain effective from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, and will apply uniformly to eligible containers during the specified period.
