Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on January 23, 2026, notified regarding the imposition of Additional Margin.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In continuation of earlier circulars and as a risk containment measure, it has been decided that additional margins will continue to be levied during the tender period on specified Silver and Gold Futures contracts (all variants). An additional margin of 4.50% will apply to SILVERM and SILVERMIC contracts expiring on January 30, 2026, while an additional margin of 1% will continue for Gold futures contracts, including GOLD and GOLD1G expiring on February 5, 2026, and GOLDGUINEA expiring on January 30, 2026, as well as GOLDM expiring on February 5, 2026. 

• These measures are issued pursuant to the consolidated circular dated April 30, 2025, with partial modification to the circular dated October 29, 2025.
