The Government of Madhya Pradesh, on January 23, 2026, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of amendments to the MP Motor Vehicle Tax Act.
The following has been stated: -
•The Madhya Pradesh Government has notified that the amendments under the Madhya Pradesh Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2025, will come into force from January 23, 2026.
•These amendments relate to the Madhya Pradesh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991, as listed at Serial No. 11 of the Schedule.
