Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu, on January 23, 2026, notified the Registration (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 2025, further to amend the Registration Act, 1908, in its application to the State of Tamil Nadu.

The following has been stated: -

•After section 34-B, the following section shall be inserted, namely:—

34-C. Production of Original documents.

It shall come into force at once.
