Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Communications, on January 23, 2026, issued a notification regarding the standard for Generic Requirements for IoT Gateways under the Telecommunication Act, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•The Central Government has notified TEC 33010:2025, a standard for Generic Requirements for IoT Gateways under the Telecommunication Act, 2023, and related rules. The standard will come into effect from January 24, 2026.
