Industry Specific Compliance class="MsoNormal">The Government of Tamil Nadu, on January 24, 2026, issued the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, to further amend the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987.

In section 33, in the proviso to sub-section (1), for the expression “fourteen years and six months”, the expression shall be substituted with:- “fifteen years and six months”.
