Labour Compliance The Government of Karnataka on January 23, 2026, issued the Draft Code on Wages Karnataka Rules, 2021.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Manner of calculating the minimum rate of wages has been stated in the Rules.

• Chapter III states the Manner of fixing floor wage.

• The State Advisory Board and the Constitution of the Board has been stated.

• The Payment of Dues, Claims, etc. has been stated in the Rules.

Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Labour Department within forty-five days.
