MCX notified regarding the modification in delivery centres for Lead and Lead Mini Futures contracts

Industry Specific ComplianceThe Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX), on January 28, 2026, has announced a modification in the contract specifications related to Additional Delivery Centres for Lead and Lead Mini Futures contracts.

Earlier, the additional delivery centres included Thane district (Maharashtra), National Capital Region (NCR), and Kolkata district (West Bengal) along with warehouse accreditation within a 100 km radius as per SEBI guidelines. Under the revised structure, the National Capital Region (NCR) will remain as the sole additional delivery centre, with warehouse accreditation continuing as per SEBI Circular dated April 16, 2021.

These changes will be effective from April 2026 expiry contracts onwards. The revised contract specifications are detailed in the Annexures to the circular, and trading under the updated framework will be permitted as notified by the Exchange.

Members are advised to note the changes and inform their clients and constituents accordingly.
