The Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE), vide Notice dated January 28, 2026, has informed market participants of anticipated high volumes in Mutual Fund transactions on Monday, February 2, 2026, owing to the convergence of the Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) date and Union Budget day. Members, Payment Aggregators and Banks have been advised to ensure robust technical systems and operational readiness to manage the expected surge.
BSE has emphasized the need for seamless handling of all operational activities on the BSE StAR MF platform, including timely uploading of valid Funds Confirmation MIS, accurate reporting of UTR numbers, and prompt transfer of requisite funds to the ICCL account within prescribed cut-off timelines, to avoid disruption in transaction processing and settlement.
