Industry Specific Compliance class="MsoNormal">The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), on January 28, 2026, issued amendment in the retail price of a specified fertiliser.

It fixes the maximum retail price of a specified fertiliser with effect from the date of its issue. As per the Schedule, Sulphur Coated Urea in a 40 kg bag shall be sold at a maximum price of Rs. 254 per bag (net). This price applies to sales made by dealers, manufacturers, importers, or pool handling agencies to growers of tea, coffee, or rubber plantations, as well as to cultivators.
