The Government of Uttar Pradesh, on December 30, 2025, issued the Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhishthan (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2025, Bill further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhishthan Adhiniyam, 1962.
The following has been stated: -
•In Section 1, — (a) for the marginal heading, the following marginal heading shall be substituted, namely: - "Short title and extent" ; (b) sub-section (3) shall be omitted.
•Section 4-B shall be substituted, which is about Registration.
It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from November 19, 2025.
