The Government of West Bengal on January 29, 2026, issued extension of Time Limit for Enumeration/Registration of E-Rickshaws Related to Policy Guideline on Movement and Regulation of Totos.
Representations were received from various organizations and stakeholders seeking extension of the time limit for enumeration/registration of e-rickshaws (TOTOs) along with owner and vehicle details, as prescribed in the guideline dated October 09, 2025. Earlier, the time limit had already been extended up to January 31, 2026 considering the requests received.
In view of the large number of vehicles expected to be enrolled/registered on the TTEN/VAHAN portals, the Government has considered it necessary to grant a further extension of six months. Accordingly, the time limit for enumeration/registration of e-rickshaws (TOTOs) has now been extended up to June 30, 2026, superseding the earlier deadline.
All other terms and conditions of the original guideline shall remain unchanged. The order comes into effect immediately, and the updated TTEN portal URL is https://tten.wb.gov.in/
