Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 30, 2026, notified regarding the Futures & Options Contracts Launch in February 2026 and Premium/Discount for grade/delivery location difference.

The following has been stated:

• NCDEX has announced the launch of new Futures and Options contracts effective February 2026, along with the Premium/Discount structure for grade differences and delivery-location differences for the corresponding futures contracts. This is in reference to SEBI’s Master Circular for the Commodity Derivatives Segment which mandates how grade, delivery quality, and location cost differences should be treated as good delivery for exchange-traded commodity futures. 

• The circular lists the futures contracts being introduced on February 01, 2026, specifies the premium/discount applicable for grade variations and for delivery at alternate locations, and includes the combined grade and location premium/discount where applicable.

• It also details the options contracts on these futures to be launched on February 02, 2026, with schedule and contract symbols provided in the annexures attached to the notice.
