Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on January 30, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Extension for Upload of Client Records to KRAs for Validations.

The following has been stated namely: -

• SEBI mandates intermediaries to upload completed client KYC details to KRAs within 3 working days of KYC completion

• Clients may start trading upon KYC completion; however, only PANs with KRA status “KYC Registered” or “KYC Validated” are permitted to continue trading.

• Exchange review found that several Trading Members failed to upload KYCs within the revised 3-day timeline, which constitutes regulatory non-compliance.

• Based on member requests, the Exchange has extended the deadline for compliance to April 03, 2026.

• PANs not validated by KRAs will be barred from trading and squaring off open positions; Trading Members must monitor such clients and coordinate directly with KRAs for resolution.
