Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate of Tourism, Government of Andaman and Nicobar Administration, on January 27, 2026, issued an advisory on the Regulation of Scuba Diving Operations.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In the interest of diver safety and regulatory compliance, and as per the prescribed safety guidelines, it has been decided to regulate the number of dives conducted by Dive professionals (Dive instructors/Dive Masters). 

• Accordingly. All registered Scuba Diving Centres/Operators are hereby directed to ensure that each dive professional conducts a maximum of four (04) dives per day. 

• The above directions shall be complied with immediately. Any violation of this advisory shall invite strict action, including cancellation of registration, as deemed fit by this Directorate.
