Labour ComplianceThe Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on January 30, 2026, issued an addendum regarding the upper age limit of Security Guards/ Supervisors.

The following has been stated: -

•Reference is made to Headquarters letter dated November 14, 2024, on engagement of contractual manpower in ESIC.

•The upper age limit for DGR-engaged Security Guards and Security Supervisors has been revised to 65 years.

•This amendment aligns with the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 and ESM Security Services guidelines.

•Deployment will remain subject to the general health and fitness of the individual concerned.
