Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on January 30, 2026, notified the Protection of Interests in Aircraft Objects Rules, 2026.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Airport and Convention.

•Rule 3 specifies Non-consensual rights or interests under the Convention.

•Rule 4 specifies Directions by the registry authority.

•Rule 5 specifies Functions of the registry authority.

They shall come into force on January 31, 2026.
