Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on February 02, 2026, notified regarding the Applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) till February 24, 2026.

The following has been stated:

• In line with earlier NCDEX surveillance circulars, the Exchange has re-triggered Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on select commodities based on observed price volatility measured through High–Low variation. Accordingly, E-ASM of 2.5% shall apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Turmeric until February 23, 2026, and to all running and yet-to-be-launched contracts in Coriander with effect from the beginning of trade on February 04, 2026, and will remain applicable till February 24, 2026. 

• The trigger dates and applicability across commodities have been specified by the Exchange, while all other applicable margins shall continue to be levied unchanged
