Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on February 03, 2026, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin for commodities.

 The following has been stated: -

•NCDEX has re-triggered an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Coriander due to high price volatility based on the High–Low variation criteria. 

•The margin will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched Coriander contracts till February 24, 2026. 

•Other commodities like Barley, Castor Seed, and Jeera are not currently under E-ASM, while Guar Gum, Guar Seed, and Turmeric have applicability till specified February 2026 dates. 

•All other applicable margins will continue unchanged.
